The tracks that have been chosen give the listener a 360° view of Aires Tango's music, where everyone can find something familiar: the sounds, the rhythms and, for the more refined listener, the band's very talented musicians and the orchestra itself.
It really caught on in Bulgaria, where one of the best orchestras on the Eastern European scene resides, the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra SIF 309 *. It is also the residence of a phenomenal recording studio, that of the Bulgarian State Radio, a studio where sound comes before everything else. The presence of an orchestra and the exceptional live recording (without the help of overdubs) did not distort the musical genre of Aires Tango but, in fact, contributed to it, respecting the traditional and non-traditional tango melodies and the jazz improvisations that are at the bases of the band’s style.
