After the exceptional Rue De Seine duet with American trumpeter Dave Douglas, Martial Solal is leader of this solo album for CAM JAZZ. A title that is already in itself symbolic: recalling the famous Ellington composition, Solal performs in complete solitude, one of many dimensions where he is most congenial and which allows him to put forth all of his instrumental and expressive mastery.
