For the first time, the original 1981 vinyl has been meticulously transferred and remastered in digital format, preserving the full warmth and dynamics of its analog source.

Giorgio Gaslini’s 1981 LP Ecstasy is a deeply expressive and intimate dialogue between piano and bass, blending Gaslini’s lyrical avant-garde style with Gomez’s fluid, virtuosic improvisation.  The album includes a tribute to Ornette Coleman (Lonely Woman) and original compositions that explore emotional and cerebral landscapes.  The album is praised for its intimate, exploratory dialogue between piano and bass, blending Gaslini’s lyrical avant-garde style with Gomez’s fluid improvisation.   It’s considered a rare gem in Italian jazz, with a meditative and expressive tone that reflects Gaslini’s compositional depth.    It was later remastered and included in the CAM Jazz box set Giorgio Gaslini – The Complete Remastered Recordings on Dischi Della Quercia.
