For the first time, the original 1976 vinyl has been meticulously transferred and remastered in digital format, preserving the full warmth and dynamics of its analog source. 

Giorgio Gaslini’s 1976 LP New Orleans Suite is a vibrant tribute to the birthplace of jazz, blending Gaslini’s avant-garde sensibilities with soulful, rhythmic echoes of Crescent City tradition. New Orleans Suite is Gaslini’s homage to the cultural and musical roots of jazz, interpreted through his European avant-garde lens.  The compositions blend lyrical passages with rhythmic experimentation, reflecting both reverence and innovation.   It stands out for its melodic accessibility compared to some of Gaslini’s more abstract works, making it a gateway into his broader catalog.   It was later included in the Giorgio Gaslini – The Complete Remastered Recordings on Dischi Della Quercia box set by CAM Jazz.
