For the first time, the original 1977 vinyl has been meticulously transferred and remastered in digital format, preserving the full warmth and dynamics of its analog source.

Giorgio Gaslini’s 1977 LP Free Actions, recorded with his Sestetto, is a bold and exploratory work in avant-garde jazz, featuring five movements of structured improvisation.   Free Actions is structured as a suite of five movements, blending composition with free improvisation.    It showcases Gaslini’s signature approach: merging classical form with jazz spontaneity.   The album is considered a key document of Italy’s 1970s avant-garde jazz scene, highlighting the  interplay between written material and collective improvisation.
